Tatenda is a perfect place to start exploring this beautiful and awe inspiring part of South Africa! The guest house is ideally situated to explore Mpumalanga, very close to the Kruger Park and on the breathtaking Panorama route. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere that urges you to rest and relax! The view from the deck is beautiful and there is nothing more relaxing than spending the late afternoon enjoying the view sipping a cold drink. The gardens and pool area is equally beautiful and it was quite difficult draging myself away from the view to get out and about exploring!
The staff are all very friendly and Christell is by far one of the most welcoming, friendly and helpful people one could hope to meet whilst travelling! She is also a brilliant cook and if you are visiting, ask her to prepare a packed breakfast for you (on the days you visit the Kruger Park!). She takes great care and pride in preparing world class meals and the selection she offers leaves no one wanting for anything!
The guesthouse is spotless and safe for people of all ages, and in a secure location, including safe off - street security parking. For the night owls there is a television, comfortable couches and also outside barbeque areas where the view of the starts and Milky Way is sure to make anyone have a second look!
I would definately recommend Tatenda as a must stay location for ANYONE! You will not be disappointed!

A lovely house in a lovely setting. Welcoming and attentive hosts keen to ensure the little touches that can make all the difference. Very enjoyable breakfasts to start the day off. Having experienced almost the opposite of all these positives further north I would say this is a good base not just for the Kruger but also the Panoramic route. We would/will certainly stay again when next back to this part of S.A.

Tatenda guest house is highly recommended: very clean, spacious, great location as it's literally 10mn away drive from one of the Krugar's gate.
Breakfast on the deck with a view on the bush is unforgettable!
Kristel welcomed us with a big smile and was always here to help us with sight seeings bookings. She even booked us a table for New Year's eve as we arrived late on New Year's eve.
Thank you Kristel for your hospitality and we hope to come back one day. My parents really enjoyed it as well as my friend and myself of course. Take care

We had a very delightful time. The accomodation was always comfortable and clean. After a
long day of sight seeing it was wonderful to come "home" to Christel's warm hospitality and
big smile.
Breakfast was an occasion. Every morning something special waited for us.
Leaving was like saying good bye to loved family members.
Thanks Christel for everything - it will always be one of may favorite holidays.

What a wonderful place to stay...
The nicest guesthouse I have ever stayed at. The rooms were fantastic, the breakfasts amazing (as was the breakfast box) and the hospitality of Christel and Martin second to none.
It?s also the perfect location from which to explore the surrounding area (Gods Window, Blyde River Canyon, KNP etc...)
Thanks Christel for all your hospitality and for the help you gave me with the football kits (putting me in touch with the local charity). Your help was greatly appreciated.
We had a truly amazing time and I hope to be back soon.
